Tilt and Turn windows are an advanced European styled window system designed with safety and security in mind. Tilt and Turn windows offer functionality that is superior to the standard open out awning or casement windows here in New Zealand.
Tilt-turn hardware allows the sash to tilt inward at the top, for secure ventilation, or turn inward providing a wide opening for emergency egress and facilitate the ease of cleaning. When closed, this compression-sealed window and door design seals tightly to provide outstanding thermal and acoustic performance.
The technology is a little different but the performance and characteristics are just the same as our standard window systems.
Horizontal Sliding Windows are simply an alternate option to contemporary Awning or Casement Windows, however Sliding Windows are ideal in locations of the home that prevent near proximity window access like over a kitchen bench top or if you wish to provide indoor outdoor flow without the access.
The windows can be customised to any size providing greater openings than normally achieved with Sliding Windows.
Sliding Panels are internally glazed for added security and performance, and fitted with the same hardware as Awning or Casement Windows, so you can rest assured knowing they are extremely secure.
The thermally efficient 86 series Sliding Doors available up to 5mtrs wide and 2.4mtrs high dependant on wind zone, the doors are available in a range of configurations. The steel reinforced which is fitted inside the sliding panels can allow sash sizes of XOS proportions with the only restriction in most cases being glass deflection requirements.
As standard throughout the Rehau range of products, all sashes are internally glazed for added security and weather tightness.
Secure Multipoint locking systems are fitted on all our sliding sashes.
With outstanding security in mind the Anti-lift blocks are fitted during assembly or installation dependant on size and weight, once fitted the sashes cannot be removed and lifted out from the exterior.

From the locked and closed position with just a simple turn of a handle, the door sash can be tilted into the ventilation position while remaining fully secured. With another turn, the sash slides open parallel to the fixed unit for inside to outside access.
A Tilt-Slide door allows you to let in fresh air, without full exposure to the outside but remains fully secure to intruders.
French Doors(Casement Doors) can be made to compliment any situation whether it be Open in or Open out functionality.

We recommend using Parkwood Duramax Composite Door Panels. Duramax panels match perfectly with uPVC offering thermally efficient doors that are completely compatible with our multipoint locking systems. Duramax panels can come ready to paint or be can be paint finished to any colour you choose.
Duramax Panels can be fitted with conventional Lever Hardware, Pull handles or Electronic Locks, most hardware is compatible with our Multi point locking systems.
Duramax Panels non-glazed, fitted with Multi point locking systems are an extremely attractive option for their security and thermal efficiency for the Residential market, Parkwood Test results show a minimum R-Value of R 0.50 or U-Value of 1.66 for All Duramax panels, this increases to a maximum of R 1.16 (U Value 0.86) for specific Duramax Door Panel types
